About Dr. Steffin

I was born in 1983 in Berlin Charlottenburg and studied and completed my doctorate at FU Berlin and the Charité. Since 2012, I have worked across the most diverse medical specialties to cover as broad a spectrum as possible. I have worked in orthopedic surgery, anesthesia, and pain therapy in Finland, and gained emergency medicine skills at an interdisciplinary emergency department. Back in Berlin, I gathered valuable experience in internal medicine and geriatrics at the Hubertus Hospital, a large orthopedic care center, and numerous general practices. In the central emergency department of the DRK Klinikum Berlin Mitte, I became acutely aware of how many preventable dangerous conditions and emergency room visits could be avoided by a single, thorough house call. Throughout my training, I have had a particular interest in holistic care, pain therapy, and the improvement and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. Since 2013, I have been concurrently training in manual medicine and chiropractic therapy, which I apply regularly in practice and on-call work. I am a trained acupuncturist (A-Diploma DägfA) and have a passion for alternative medicine. I am committed to always staying at the forefront of medical research and to treating my patients individually and as equals. I am a member of the German Acupuncture Society DägfA, the Medical Society for Naturopathic Procedures, and the Network for Integrative Medicine. In my free time, I am an avid climber, cyclist, and guitarist, and live with my wife and two children in Berlin Schöneberg.
